*Rapper Master P will pay for the funeral of a 13-year-old Kentucky boy killed in a car crash after a police chase on Dec. 22.

According to multiple reports, Ki’Anthony Tyus was a passenger in a car reported stolen that crashed into a utility pole after being pursued by the Louisville Metro police. The boy’s family says they don’t know why he was in the car.

“My 13 year old lil soldier didn’t make it,” P wrote on Instagram. “He got shot 2 years ago and got Killed 2 days ago. We need to stop this black on black crime. Rip Ki’Anthony Tyus. #weallwegot Just know that every decision comes with consequences and no one is too young to die. My prayers go out to his family.”

The Louisville Metro Police is trying to determine whether the police chase violated the department’s strict pursuit policy.

Ki’Anthony became an anti-gun activist and the face of Louisville’s “Hood 2 Hood” movement after being hit by a stray bullet while playing basketball in 2015. Master P first met the child after that shooting and he wrote about Tyus’ death earlier this week on IG.

“I know I’m not God and I can’t save the world. I realized a lot of these adults are not going to listen. The real reason I leave my mansion to keep coming back to the hood is to educate and try to save the next generation. Maybe a lot of us didn’t get what we wanted for Christmas but we should be thankful we are alive,” the wrote. Adding that Tyus “Could’ve been the next Lebron James.”

A memorial for Ki’Anthony Tyus was held on Sunday and the funeral is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 3, at noon at Cornerstone Baptist Church.
