*A Taiwanese woman known as the “Bikini Climber” was a social media star who found instafame after posting seminude pictures of herself perched high atop mountains. But a recent attempt to capture the perfect sky-high selfie ended in tragedy when she died after freezing to death following a fall.

According to Yahoo, GiGi Wu, 36, was eight days into a solo hike Saturday when she called a friend to say she had stumbled 65 feet down a ravine in Central Taiwan’s Yushan Mountain, and was unable to move because of a leg injury, Taiwan News reported. But despite her many calls for help, emergency responders were not able to immediately reach her due to poor weather conditions.
