*Uh oh. Now R. Kelly has another problem and he can thank Lifetime and its “Surviving R. Kelly” docuseries … which has lead to him being under investigation by authorities in Georgia.
Yep, not only was the public glued to their TV sets during the series, but so were the folks in the Fulton County District Attorney’s office. Those many, many allegations leveled against Kelly in the show were cataloged by law enforcement and thus a probe was launched over the past several days, according to TMZ, which is also reporting ….
We’re told investigators have been reaching out to several survivors featured in the TV project. We have confirmed investigators reached out to Asante McGee, one of the women who allegedly escaped R. Kelly’s home.
The attorney for Joycelyn Savage‘s family was contacted by Chief Investigator Cynthia Nwokocha and has been fully cooperating.

Meanwhile, we hear investigators have been asking for contact information from others who have lived in Kelly’s former Atlanta home or have direct knowledge of what happened there.
As you can imagine, during and since the series airing, investigators have been inundated with information from all kinds of sources.
