R. Kelly (or Somebody) Came Up with the $100K Needed for His Bail – He’s Free! (WATCH)

*R. Kelly, no doubt, is breathing a sigh of relief ’cause he’s gonna be sleeping in his own bed tonight. That is his own bed in his own abode.

Yes, what we’re trying to say is that the R&B star and accused sexual abuser, somehow came up with the $100K needed for his get out of jail fee otherwise known as bail.

Even though he came up with the money, Kelly is still in a pickle. He still has to pay off a 6-figure child support tab immediately if he wants to stay out of jail.

The bottom line, is that he has to pay about $160k in back child support to his ex-wife Drea Kelly by March 6.

As we reported earlier, Kelly had spent the weekend in Cook County lockdown after his bail was set at $1 million.

Earlier, at his bond hearing, Greenberg told the judge that Kelly would have a hard time paying the 10 percent requirement because his finances “are in a mess” and he owes nearly $170,000 in child support.

52-year-old Kelly — who is facing felony aggravated sex abuse charges for allegedly assaulting four victims, three of whom were underage — entered a not guilty plea on Monday.

Here’s something to think about. Because of all the things being thrown at him legally, R. Kelly could wind up in prison for the rest of his life.

There’s more! It looks like Kellz’s planned global concerts are still in go mode. God knows he can use the cash right about now.  In fact there are not going to be any refunds unless it absolutely has to be done, reports TMZ:

Concerts Stuttgart — a promoter for a couple German concerts R. Kelly is supposed to perform at in April — sent an update to ticket holders Monday, saying they’re holding off on selling more tickets, given R. Kelly’s legal sitch here in the States.

CS goes on to say (in rough English translation) … “At the moment, and we also have to admit that, the chances of the tour are rather bad, yet we would like to wait for the outcome of the (case). It is also correct that Robert had to (surrender) his passport for now.”
