Radio Show Defends Kamala Harris After Outrage Over Her Weed Comments

*Senator Kamala Harris attracted a new hive of haters when she announced her 2020 presidential run earlier this month. Since then, the critics have been furious about everything from her dancing to Cardi B to her decades old affair with a prominent politician and most recently, her support for legalizing marijuana.

In an interview with The Breakfast Club, Harris admitted that she smoked weed, however, some outlets have misquoted her in order to fuel the anti-Kamala-for-president frenzy, because they believe she also claimed to have listened to rappers Snoop Dogg and 2Pac while she smoked weed in college.

But as many conservatives were quick to point out, Harris graduated from Howard University in 1986 and finished law school by 1989. Pac and Snopp didn’t drop their debut albums in the early 90’s. So was she lying?

Breakfast Club hosts DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God have come to Kamala’s defense. They say when she was talking about listening to ‘Pac and Snoop, it was in response to a separate question, not in reference to her smoking weed.

As reported by jasminebrand.com, Charlamagne said Harris laughed off his question about listening to the iconic rappers when she smoked in college. He asked:

“What was you listening to when you was high? What was on? What song was on?”

Harris responded [to DJ Envy], saying: “Definitely Snoop, 2Pac for sure.”

The hosts believe Fox News specifically is attempting to paint Harris out as being a liar. Judge for yourself… watch the full interview above.
