Spike Lee, Mahershala Ali, Regina King and ‘Black Panther’ Pick Up Oscars + Complete Winners List

*The 2019 Oscars are in the books and we wanna send out special congrats to Spike Lee who finally got his first Oscar win – after 33 years in the business – for Best Adapted Screenplay for “BlacKkKlansman.”

For the second year in a row  Mahershala Ali took home the Best Supporting Actor award. Last year he won it for “Moonlight.” This year it was for his role in “Green Book.”

Also, Regina King, as predicted, was named Best Supporting Actress” for playing Sharon Rivers in “If Beale Street Could Talk.”

Lastly, we need to give props to “Black Panther” which won 3 awards: Best Original Score, Best Costume Design and Best Production Design.
