*Felicity Huffman has hired a high-powered PR agency to handle all media inquiries regarding Operation Varsity Blues.

The former “Desperate Housewives” star has called upon The TASC Group, the same crisis firm that handled the press for Trayvon Martin’s family during the trial of George Zimmerman.

Hoffman is among the 50 people, including actress Lori Loughlin, at the center of a massive college entrance exam scheme. According to The Blast, prosecutors offered those hit with felony charges a plea deal if they spill the tea about the scam.

On March 12, Huffman was arrested and released on a $250,000 bond and ordered to surrender her passport.

In the arrest warrant, Huffman and her husband, William H. Macy, allegedly “made a purported charitable contribution of $15,000 to KWF [a college prep company] to participate in the college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of her oldest daughter. Huffman later made arrangements to pursue the scheme a second time, for her younger daughter, before deciding not to do so.”

Macy was not charged in the case.

In related news, Tevin Campbell has expressed his gratitude to Ava Duvernay for keeping her word to cast him in a project.

Back in August, she came to the singer’s defense online when a debate erupted on Twitter about his current relevance in pop culture.

The “Selma” filmmaker tweeted that she was “rebuking any Tevin Campbell slander,” and vowed to work the Grammy-nominated performer into an episode of her hit OWN series “Queen Sugar.”

“Plotting to write him into an episode of Queen Sugar SOMEHOW. On general principle,” she added.

Duvernay has proved to be a woman of her word because Campbell is scheduled to appear on the drama series when it returns in the summer, ESSENCE reports.

Campbell expressed his gratitude to Duvernay in a video filmed on the set.

“This is so exciting for me and I want to thank Ava Duvernay,” he says in the clip. “Ava Duvernay she is a doer she kept her word, and I want to thank the cast and the crew for making me feel at home, like I’ve been here for years. Oh my God! Y’all don’t even understand how excited I am!”

Details about his character remain a mystery — for now, and Campbell was careful not to share any spoilers.

“That’s all I’m going to give away as of now, but you have to stay tuned to season 4 baby,” he concludes.

Season 4 of “Queen Sugar” premieres June 12.
