THE REAL Ladies Welcomes the Guys of ‘Station 19!’

the real - the real crew (03-07-19)

*On Thursday, March 7, the hosts of The Real discuss if “Mommy Makeovers” are a kind offer or if they put undue pressure on new mothers.

And is it worth it anymore to send paper invitations or are email invites the way to go now? Adrienne Houghton wants to know if her fellow co-hosts even still have her wedding invitation! Then the ladies talk about how the spirit moves them in church and co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley demonstrates her “shout dance!”

And later, the guys from Station 19, Boris Kodjoe, Grey Damon, Alberto Frezza, Jay Hayden and Okieriete Onaodowan, join the ladies to chat about tonight’s midseason premiere. Grey Damon recalls a time he put his firefighter training from the show to use in real-life, and Boris Kodjoe explains why he takes the “longest” time to get ready on set!

Tamera Mowry-Housley: So you guys wear anywhere from 40 to 60 lbs. of gear. Now Boris… I hate to break the news to you…

Boris Kodjoe: Whoa.

Tamera: But the consensus amongst your cast mates is that you are the slowest person…

Boris: No.

Tamera: …to get dressed in the firefighter gear…

Jay Hayden: You know you are!

Boris: Really?

Jay: You know you are!

Boris: Traitors! Really?

Okieriete Onaodowan: Actually, we have some gear in the back, we’re gonna do it.

Tamera: Explain yourself!

Boris: First of all –

Tamera: Yes, do tell!

Boris: First of all. I like to take my time in representing our heroes and first responders…

[The Real audience applauds]

Jay: Ohhhhh!

Alberto Frezza: Good answer.

Jay: Don’t clap for that!

Okieriete: Have a seat!

Boris: I don’t want to rush through things! Take my time. And secondly, I’m much longer than any of you, I’m way longer…

Tamera: You are tall.

Boris: …than all these guys.

Loni: You mean tall? Or long?

Boris: 6’ 4” Long.

Jay: The last time, the last time… listen…

Boris: Close your mouths, ok? We’re talking about length when we try to get into the uniform!

Okieriete: Imma just… what was that, Loni?

Jeannie: Some men prefer to be tall, some like to be long. I ain’t hatin’ on it.
